Drama 16 Stage Lighting

1) 3/5/13 at 9:20am, getting coffee at Café on the Quad

3) this light made me extremely energetic. The light was bright and yellow which made the day seem like spring. This light woke me up and seemed to infuse me with more energy than the coffee would have, so I ended up not getting coffee. The yellow to the light made me think of spring and the brightness made me want to do something before the sun decided to become cold due to the incoming storm. I love how this light makes me want to accomplish all of the tasks I have to do instead of making me want to curl up, like winter usually does. It was such a pleasant surprise.

4) I found this picture incredibly powerful for a couple reasons. The first is because when I was small I was told that lightning was when God was angry, so definitely think that has a huge influence on me, but also because I thought it had to be God because of how bright it was. When I was very young lightning hit a tree outside my window and I was blinded for a short time because of how bright it was against the night darkness. Also, for this specific picture, I always think of purple as one of the most unique colors to see in the sky, so when I see it I have a very powerful emotional response of reverence and awe for how majestic everything becomes. So the purple lightning is probably one of the most powerful lights I can think of for myself.  Truly an awe-inspiring image.
