4 Seasons Project

DAKOTA IN THE WINTER AT NOON

The goal of this design was to give the impression that the light was hitting the figure from the sky at winters soon , slightly after solar noon and hitting them from the ground as well because snow reflects light.

HAWAII SUMMER AFTERNOON

The goal of the design is to get a warm wash from angles that show the sun is not setting but is no longer at solar noon either. Also get some reflection from the water.

Photo Observation #10

Location: Natural Light Show in Japan

This picture gives off an enchanted mood. There are a bunch of mini lights all spread out around the forest’s ground. They are lit up a yellow/green color and their light is projected up under the trees. This makes the tree trunks lit up as well as their leaves, causing them to have a greener color. I thought it was interesting because although the light is being projected from below the object, it doesn’t give off a spooky mood. The micro lights look as if they can be little fairies gathering in the woods.

Lighting Observation 10

2. My keyboard is a mechanical keyboard with changing colors underneath. It can be edited through software to change to the moods of fire, to ripple with green acid, to flow with a rainbow. All of these have different lighting effects with cools and warm lighting.

3. All of the functions add the effect of calm warmness to you. From the cool tones chiming on the keys or the transition of the rainbow across my keyboard as I watch it. It’s like my own little light show in my room which makes me very happy.
