Drama 16 Stage Lighting

1) March 3rd-11:PM-My room

2) OBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: The light is cast by a bulb that has been made to resemble a stained glass window. As such, there are shades of red, orange, yellow, and some muted blue. The light is dim.

3) SUBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: This lighting is comforting in some moments are eerie in others. Comforting because the orange glow reminds me of how our house used to look (we weren’t allowed to leave lights on). It is also eerie, however, because the red hue is very unnatural and disconcerting.

2) This photo was taken by me during the summer while I was at Disneyland in California,  the picture itself is from their new fountain show, World of Color.

3) Vibrant, Colorful, Saturated

4)  I picked this picture because when I think of color and vibrance, I think of this show.  I really like the use of the whole entire rainbow and how everything is lit up.  I think the blend of colors in this picture speaks vibrant and colorful.  The other thing I like about this picture is that it not only has the basic colors of the rainbow but all the colors in between too.  I think the glow of the fountains in this picture contributes to the vibrant aspect of it too.  Having all that color against a black sky also helps emphasize that color and bring out the contrast more , especially in this photo.
