Photo Observation- Wild Card

2) Attribute the Photo, tell us where it came from.

This is a photo my friend took of me in 2018.

3) THEME: Wild Card

4) DESCRIPTION:

A soft face surrounded by stark darkness. The shadows sweep and shroud as much as possible. And yet, a small light manages to harmonize with the shadows in order to create a fanstastical photo. Simplicity at its finest. Two girls, a camera, a light, and some darkness.

Lighting Observation

1) DATE-TIME-LOCATION: 4/7/2020 around 8:45pm in my room in West Hempstead, NY

2) OBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: All the lights in my room were off except for my fish tank light.

3) SUBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: After closing my blinds and shutting off my lights, I noticed that the only light in my room was that of Betta O’Rourke’s tank (my foster fish). He was swimming around gracefully as the yellowish-greenish light from above his tank lit up a corner of my room.

Lighting Observation #5

  1. February 25, 2018 – 4:34pm – Adams Playhouse
  2. I am standing in the theatre behind the Two Gentleman of Verona set. As I sitting there in mostly darkness, a green light came on. The light was to my right. Its primary job was to light the stage, however some of it spilled onto backstage. The backpack as well as a cord as right in front of me and the green light was casted upon them.
  3. I was so intrigued by the beauty. You would not think that a backpack laying on the floor or a cord wrapped around the banister could be something that would really attract someone’s attention. But something about the way the green light lit them up almost looked like it was fake. There was a futuristic mood that the light created and I could not stop looking at the cord and backpack until the light faded out.
