Lighting Observation #6

Date, Time, Location: 3/14/19, 12:40 pm, outside of ABP

Objective Description: Outside of ABP, there is a bush that is halfway in the sun and halfway in the shade. The part in the sun is a brighter green and has spots of yellow on the leaves. The half in the shade is a more natural leaf green with a more beige yellow.

Subjective Description: The bush shows the light and darkness of nature. Whenever there is some kind of natural disaster, that can be considered the dark side of nature. The lighter side can be considered to be the nature we look at on a daily basis.

Photo Observation #2

3. Cold.

4. Over the icy mountains, streaks of violet, teal and green race down from the deep blue sky. These shimmering, cool colors give a sensation of shivers and the need to be warm. The chilly water reflects the colors of  the beautiful, frosty rainbow above. As the frozen mountain tops stand below, the frigid colors of the aurora borealis put on a fantastic spectacle of illumination. This wonderful show of lights is nature’s finest curtain call.

photo observation #6?

vibrant, colorful, saturated

I love this picture because these colorful spheres are bright, shiny, vivid colors and they have all different designs. But in the shiny ones there are reflections of trees. I love how something as unnatural as these spheres try to camouflage themselves in trees and grass.  I feel like they are trying this disguise but their shapes and colors distort the trees so try as they might these spheres will never really be natural.

What, Where: One of my friends old photo projects, friend against trees

Theme: Power

Description: This picture portrays Power, as the model is in a stance of aggression and dominance. What is interesting is the shadows behind her in the trees from the sun. it makes a green, white, and black speckled design contrasting her in the front area. Although her face doesn’t tell much of the story, the single light source helps contrast her from the background giving her stance on the grass.
