Photo Observation: Fun

image

I took this photo at the Old Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Theme: Fun

Description: Lights beaming from every direction, this luminous strip brings life to an entirely new spectrum. Reds, oranges, yellows, purples, blues and greens all combine to form a technicolor dream of displays. The bright colors and fluid projections send an uncontrollable wave of excitement and curiosity through the thick, warm air. Only the colorful blasts, however, can penetrate the dry heat from a boiling day. Stimulating colors brighten the night sky and awaken any tired eyes that remain.

Lighting Observation #8

1. March 7th 2014 at around 8:30 at Take-One Theatres.

2. A long rectangular strip of lights that flash colors of cyan and red. Along with it is a bright, white spotlight.

3. On a Friday night, Take-One Theatres opened up their first show of ‘Peter Pan’. To make our flying scene magical we used a massive strip of lights that illuminated the space our Peter “flew” around. The light blinked bright, saturated reds and blues around the stage, generating a warm and exciting aura to the show. As Peter Pan whizzed around, a bright, white light shone down upon her, making her the star of the moment. The astonishing lighting made her the center of attention and helped the audience feel the magic of the moment.

Lighting Observation #5

1. 11/24/14 at around 10:00 at a shopping strip in my local area.

2. This was a long array of shops that had neon signs, street lamps and big bright letters on the top of every shop.

3. The pitch black night surrounds the bright and highly illuminated strip around my area. Everywhere you look is a different color. The large lettering on the top of the building, entices customers to walk through their doors. From light greens, reds, violets, ambers, whites and pinks, a wide array of lights glow across the sidewalk. In the cold and dark night, this colorful and actively lit area is where you would want to be.
