3.) The first two layers of depth in this photo are the characters in the foreground and the bed sheet. The shadows on the bedsheet imply a third layer of depth. Due to the distance between the objects it looks like you are looking at a college of all three planes layered on top of each other. It creates a bit of an optical illusion and for one reason or another reminds me of a Brother’s Grimm Fairy Tale.
