Lighting Observation #7

LOCATION: 5th Floor of Constitution
OBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: The hallway outside the elevator was being lit by the light of the sun shining in through the window of the common room. The light was a warm amber which reflected off of the white walls to create a warm glow throughout the hallway.
SUBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: The warm light shining in to the hallway created a very comforting feeling as I was walking to the elevator. The otherwise plain white concrete walls where lit up with the yellow light from the sun, which made the otherwise very unwelcoming hallway seem like a safe and happy place. The blue carpet also seemed to look brighter and more inviting as it reflected the light from the sun as well.
