Lighting Observation #8

1.) April 4th, 2025 – 6:24 pm – Hofstra Campus

2.) The light that was produced from the clouds covering the sun, as it hit the newly-grown, green grass.

3.) Walking across campus, I was left with a strange, unsettling feeling. It felt like it should’ve been a very happy day. It was bright enough out, and it was one of the first warm days of the year, but something was off. The blanket of clouds covering the sun made the light shining down feel muted. As if on the brink of something about to happen, but not quite getting there. It felt very still. The green of the freshly grown grass was strangely vibrant, somehow more so than when the sun is beaming down with no clouds in sight. These rich colors under an unusually cool light from the sun made me feel uneasy, causing me to increase my pace along the path.
