Virtual Light Lab

Fall sunset-

• High side light in warm orangey tones
• Used the breakup gobo to make it look like the sun is setting through trees with falling leaves
• The higher light is R15 “Deep Straw” and the lower light is R21 “Golden Amber”
• 90º overhead spot, soft with a dark blue to signify a darkening night sky; soft focus 
• Sharp narrow white beam from right to signify the moon light shining through the sky
• Added haze and low ambient light

Caribbean noon

• Warm light overhead- 70 degree angles, as if sun was shining through clouds and you can see the beams of light. 
• Warm gold tones to show warmth.

Winter afternoon before snow 

• High ambient light background, like when you look out the window before a snow day.
• white light overhead, with a soft fade and dotted gobo
• Light blue lights on corners of stage with the dots as well to resemble flurries. 

Gothic cathedral sunrise

• Side light, as if looking outside to the sunrise
• #1 is second from bottom, golden with the window gobo
• Low ambient light, as if dark in cathedral and only light provided by the sunrise outside 
• #2 light “Golden Amber” gel to add depth to the color of the sunrise
• #3 light above the #1 with a warm pink color to add more depth and reflect the colorful morning sky, softer fade 
• #4 above #3 with more gold sunrise-y light
• #5 highest is lightest color, almost white
