Seasons Light lab

This is my Easter Sunrise and a Gothic Cathedral. I decided I wanted to have dimly-lit colorful features as if there were light shining through stained glass windows. I hung lights parallel on either side on the floor, towards the middle with one spotlight on the left angled down.

I wanted the hot day in the Caribbean to be full of warm yellow tones with one piercing blue in the middle. I did this by hanging most of the lights on one side but with one  on the opposite side and one on in the center.

For the fall Sunset I focused all of the lighting on one side and angled it with a single go go to look like window shutters as if it was shining through. I layered dark to light circles for the Sun.

Back home whenever it’s about to snow it would always get really grey and dark with Cloud starting to shift in. I only used a few light to accomplish what I wanted with 1 gobo with flurries as if the clouds were moving in.
