Lighting Observation
Sunday, February 5th, @3:00pm
Objective: My friends and I were sitting in my dorm room working on our homework. I was sitting on the floor and the sun was shining through the window so that it was blinding me. I stood up and turned off the room light.
Subjective: The sun shining through the window was bright but also had a warm tint. When I stood to turn off the lights something felt off, but it wasn’t the sunlight. Once I turned off the light I could see it on all of our faces the relief of just having the natural light in the room. The room light had a cold feeling to it so when I turned it off the room was bathed in a warmth that was comforting and symbolized the tranquility and restfulness of a “lazy Sunday.”
