Photo Observation

  1. Photo: Shigeo Fukuda ‘sculpture’; found on intradayfun.com, http://intradayfun.com/2015/09/shigeo-fukuda-intricately-stacks-piles-of-trash-that-create-deceptive-shadows/
  2. Theme: shadows
  3. I like shadows because of their ability to be illusive and deceptive.  My favorite shadows are the ones like this photo – advanced shadow puppets, taking one item and using it to create a completely different visual.  I find it fascinating how the light is able to capture the image in a way that creates an entirely new image and idea.  In a sense, it adds to the mystery of shadows, because it makes you wonder what other images can be created from seemingly one object through the manipulation of light.
