4) Shadows to me means creepy, and this place is the quintessence of scary. The artificial sick lighting helps make this place very claustrophobic and the circular shadows repeating themselves remind me of those hypnosis black-and-white circles. I can also imagine if people were walking through those corridors the shadows they would cast would be very scary.
