Lighting Observation

1) DATE-TIME-LOCATION: Outside of Estabrook Hall around 6:00PM, 2/6/2020

2) OBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: Yellow/orange light positioned along the outside wall of the building.

3) SUBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: I was walking toward my dorm building when I spotted this very moody lamp mounted on the side of Estabrook Hall. It gave off a lazy, very dim, orange glow. It’s soft rays obviously struggling to illuminate the ground roughly ten feet below. The light could have been missed entirely had it not been drizzling slightly; the dancing specs of rain reflected the lamp’s glow as they haphazardly searched for a destination to land. At the same time, the quiet mist could have gone without being noticed had it not been for the little glow of its friend: the orange light. I walked by as they danced their little dance.
