Photo Observation #7
I took this photo in the early afternoon on April 17 last year on South Campus, right outside of Axinn Library.
3) THEME: Spring
4) DESCRIPTION: I have a habit of taking pictures of things that spark momentary joy. This means that at the height of Spring on campus, I often stop to take pictures of the way the bright sunlight shines on the flowers. The clearness of the April sky makes all of the colors breathe so much more vividly. The brilliant blue of the sky and the bright, lively colors of all of the blooming flowers feels like a dose of serotonin sometimes, even though the joy only lasts a bit. The pinks of the cherry blossoms outside Axinn made me very happy that day, and I remember standing under that tree in delight, looking at how the sun sparkled on all of the petals and the shadows they casted on us under the tree. I miss it, to be honest.
