under Light Observation
- Date / Time / Location: February 5th, 4:11 pm, my bedroom in Hempstead
- Objective Description: My bedroom in the attic is small and narrow, but there is one medium-sized window in the corner of the room facing the sunlight. As the sun is setting, it shines a warm glow onto the side of the room and onto one of the walls. It’s warm-toned color displays a stark contrast to the cool-toned gray paint on the walls.
- Subjective Description: Typically, my bedroom is my office where I get work done, my dining room where I eat my meals, and my studio where I dance. However, I had a moment to relax on my bed this past weekend and seeing this light made my space feel like a peaceful, comforting bedroom once again. The warmth of the setting sun provided not just brightness, but a sense of ease and contentment. Since it has been cold and foggy the past month, this glimmer of light gave me great joy.
