4. I am so amused by this photo, and the overall concept behind it! I honestly would never think to paint a crab on my lips! (or fox, caterpillar, pikachu- see my fb- etc. that are in this album!) I liked this as a demonstration of modeling because part of the charm of the crab is that it sticks out away from her face, she’s puckering her lips. Consequently, the light that is shining down on her from up top creates a shadow under her lips; because the crab is modeled with highlight and shadow underneath the effect is that the lips/crab jumps out at us! I think it’s utterly adorable!
