Objective: The living room of an off-campus house.

Subjective: There is a pale, blue-ish light emanating by a lamp on an end table. There is a ceiling light in the kitchen that is emanating a light yellow light. Together it is creating an interesting wash of the area, feeling very urban on a dark evening. It feels like a scene from a movie in the early 2000’s.

Objective: A window overlooking the south side of campus on the 9th floor.

Lighting Observation

1) DATE-TIME-LOCATION: 5-4-2021 – 7:00 pm – My Kitchen

2) OBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: The colors from the sunset shine through my kitchen window as I eat dinner.

3) SUBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: The salmon rays shine through my window after a long days of classes and I feel grateful for a peaceful moment as I pick up a piece of pasta. I admire the diffusion of the light as it, almost disgustingly, passes through the dust in the air creating a singular rectangular bean from the window, but I don’t mind why it looks like that as I admire the magic.
