April 16th, 2026 – Netherlands North
I chose this photo due to the warm lighting hitting both the ground, and the tree. The shadows on the ground due to the tree interested me, and I liked the composition of the photo as well. I find spring and summer closely intertwined, and although some may say this photo is more springlike, I believe that the lighting encapsulates the feeling of running towards summer.
