SUBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: The warmth of the sun touching my skin, the trees overhead rustling in the wind. I duck underneath the branches, finding a retreat from the day within the shadow cast along the grass. Yet I still see sun, just one step beyond the shade.

SUBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: The stark white light above me. So many rows of bulbs line the ceiling. Too many for this time of night. A row goes out and our eyes can finally adjust no longer overwhelmed by the army that shines above.

SUBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: Abandoning the cold shadows, I turn the corner and feel the warmth of the sun radiating through me. The light illuminates many faces, all friendly and warm. Golden yellow on the sidewalks, bright green in the trees, I follow the path of the sun as it shines on me.

OBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: Light coming through blinds.
SUBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: Sunlight peers through slits, illuminating me with strips of warm light. The blinds try to keep the sun at bay, nevertheless light always prevails.
