Lighting Observation 12

Date: 2/27/16

Time: 2:47pm

Location: Brower Hall

Objective description: Sunlight is coming in from the two windows on the right side of the room, everything else is dark.

Subjective Description:  Warm late afternoon sunlight sweeps across the floor in long rectangular shapes from the only two light sources in the room, the far windows.  Only the right side of each person’s face is illuminated, giving them an eerie warm glow and casts dark shadows on the other side of their face.  The light is so much warmer and more welcoming than the harsh florescence that had been on in the beginning of class. The students look as though they are glowing from within and where the light hits the floors appears to be warm and dazzling.
