Light Observation 2

Thursday, February 8, 2019 – The clock just outside of the student center on north side
The mist in the air allowed for the light to spread more easily throughout the sky, so the light of the lampposts was more prominent than usual.
It felt like I was Lucy from The Chronicles of Narnia when she first say the lamppost through the wardrobe. It was a surreal moment, where I didn’t quite comprehend what I was looking at, but I knew immediately that it was a beautiful moment that I may not get to experience again. The glow of the lampposts outlining the edges of the trees seemed like an alien encounter, while the glow of the clock seemed almost like the repeating imagery within some movies of the clock that slowly ticks down to the characters doom. It was illuminated to the point wherein it became somewhat difficult to discern the edge of the actually metal structure from the trees, because of how brightly the face shined.
