Light Observation #2; Black Veil Parlor
1) DATE-TIME-LOCATION: Saturday 2/9, 8:00 pm, Black Veil Gallery and Tattoo Parlor, Salem MA
2) OBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: The lights where hung in the rafters of the gallery, red, green, and amber gels distributed between them. None of the lights where very intense and they promoted an overall atmosphere that complimented the Gothic/Victorian themed decor of the gallery. There where pools of red on some of the displays but generally the green and amber lights where less noticeable, there where also real candles along one wall of the shop that flickered through red glass. Even with the number of lights present it was still overall fairly dim.
3) SUBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: This place seemed like the true heart of Salem, a place where the spirits of the lost and wicked could sit agreeably with the living. This is the sort or place that could be haunted and you would never know if it was haunted or just part of the decor.
