There was this performance I had participated in this house called “The Hau5” in Brooklyn. One thing that really caught my eye what the simple fact that the entire house was lit with colorful light strips. Depending upon each of the shows they had they would adjust the entire room to a specific color. They used a lot of red lighting/ pink lighting for the artist I sing with.
The pink or red lighting really gave you an intense effect because it went very well with the aesthetic of the artist. This intensified the performance because they were able to provide us with the proper lighting that would be able to portray our set in the best way. I loved the red lighting because it made it not cool but very warm in feeling. We wanted to provide those feelings to the audience and it helped. Plus taking photos were really cool because they all had a red tint to them.
