Light Observation #2

1) DATE-TIME-LOCATION: Wednesday night, in my bedroom. Hempstead, NY.

2) OBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: I have been trapped in my room for the past three days with Influenza B. The weather has been gloomy and my room has been kept dark. There is an automatic sensor outside of my bedroom window that sometimes becomes triggered on its own. The light reflects into my room and creates shadows on several inanimate objects in my bedroom.

3) SUBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: Sometimes the light reflecting on objects in my room forces me to think that the objects are something else. Sometimes at 4AM I will find myself questioning whether the shadow in the corner of my room is a ghost watching me or a stack of clothes that I probably should’ve washed two weeks ago. Light can make things deceiving.
