1.) I took this photo May 9th in front of a strangers house.
2) THEME: Spring
3) DESCRIPTION: Spring is most often associated with the days becoming longer and warm being introduced when cold was all there was for a time. This photo perfectly embodies this change to me. There is a split down the middle but it is an uneven split. One one side warmth, the other cool. Both sides have earthy tones and depending on the day one might overlap the other. I also enjoy how the sun was directly over this bush. It creates top down lighting where most of the plant is bright yet there are small patches of shadow on the bottoms of each flower. The days growing longer can be visually understood here. Spring has sprung!
