under Light Observation
- Tuesday, May 17th, around 8:00am. My dorm looking out to Oak street and the tress behind Stuyvesant.
- There is a shadow from the building and the taller trees making it so some leaves appear to be greener than others.
- With the sun on the other side of the building, I was able to see all of the shadows and where the light hit without the worry of being blinded. There was very little wind and no clouds, so it seemed as though that the leaves that were getting sun, had been getting sun for a while. These leaves looked like they were glowing green and started to reflect the sunlight. This was a nice contrast to the leaves that were in the shadows, getting no light. Where the leaves with sun seemed to be alive and have a mind of their own, the leaves in the shadows seemed mopey and like they had no movement to them. It gave off the illusion that the minimal wind only affected the leaves that had sun.
