Light Observation #1

February 7th, 2025, 11:46 pm – Outside my Bedroom Window
I am describing the street lamp outside my window, flickering on and off, casting flashes of light onto the tree in front of my house.
Looking out my window, I see the street lamp stuttering in and out of darkness, its light erratic and unsettling. It flickers like a broken strobe, cutting through the stillness of the night with an unnatural pulse. Each flash momentarily reveals the tree in front of my house, its branches twisting in stark shadows that vanish just as quickly as they appear. The quiet outside feels thick, almost frozen in time, but the unsteady glow makes it seem as if something is lurking—just beyond the reach of the light.
