Light Observation #3

2/21/25- 5:00pm- Bedroom Doorway

Objective Description: Sunlight, coming through an open window, bounces of a wooden cabinet of mine and illumines my bedroom.

Subjective Description: As the sun begins to set on a cool February evening, the warm amber light from the sun sneaks its way through my bedroom window. As the light aggressively strikes my wooden cabinet, the softer and dimmer-bounced light casts an inviting glow over my dark, dimly lit bedroom. The warm glow accentuates and highlights the shiny old photographs on my wall, bringing these old memories back to life. The bounced light was also pleasant enough to not be bright enough to get rid of the dark shadows of my room, creating a nice contrast without looking harsh.
