1.) March 11 – 8:43 pm – Adam’s Playhouse
2.) When moving the mission on stage in the middle of Guys and Dolls, a red sidelight shines across the cross on the interior wall.
3.) At first, the cross starts off dark. Then, slowly, a red splotch of light creeps up from the bottom right corner of the wall. It makes its way up, until the cross is fully illuminated in a deep red wash. It feels like a warning, quietly creeping up on you and before sounding the alarm. The meaning of this ominous image is unclear, but it is certainly not good. Then, the light continues on, and the cross returns to its original yellow color, as if nothing had happened. While in reality, this was caused by the mission moving across the stage lights, every time we do that transition I think about how that could be a great shot, right before the climax of a horror movie.
