Lighting Moment #5

  1. Thursday, March 5th, 2026 – Looking out of my dorm window
  2. I had just finished getting ready for the day and I finally opened my blinds and looked out of the window. The rain was coming down and it was gray outside which normally feels sad, but the temperature outside was quite a bit warmer than it’s been so the warmer rain made the day feel brighter and nice. Inside felt nice and cozy.
  3. There are times when lighting will make me nostalgic. This rain felt like the rain that you get in the summer after lots of hot days. There was something about the bright gray lighting and slightly warmer temperature that even though I should be wanting hot sunny days right now, the rain felt good. It wasn’t super dark it felt more like a go outside and play in the rain kind of lighting and it made me happy. (until I got soaked walking to class of course.)
