Lighting Observation #5

1)  3/4/25 – outside Netherlands Core

2) OBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: single yellow/amber light lights the surrounding brick wall. There is a ring around the center of the lamp creating a shadow that separates the light into 4 quadrants around the light.

3) SUBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: yellow light cast from the lamp looks like a reverse butterfly shadow, where instead of shadow cast from the wings it is light. There is no other light, the lamp casts a very low golden glow onto the floor and snow below. It feels like a butterfly spreading its wings and flying off into the night.
