3. I visited the Grand Canyon during the summer of 2010. The pictures of it pale in comparison. It is the most inspiring thing I have ever seen, and is literally awesome, as in awe inspiring. When standing at the edge looking out it puts your life in perspective. As far as the colors go it’s one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. Seeing the different layers of rocks and sediments and the blue sky above is a wondrous sight.
