- Happy
- A tropical island is my happy place reasons why I choose this for the theme. I love how blue the water is and you can see its clear as you can see the sand. The blue water and green trees to me go together. Blue and green are two colors that set well. The sun shining in the middle top makes me feel warm, my favorite season is summer. I like how the sun rays is reflecting off the trees a bit making the green fade into a yellow. I admire the green, blue, and yellow because it relaxes me and reminds me of vacation and that makes me happy.

- Looking out my dorm room window towards Oak Street on March 9 at 5:30pm.
- I was looking out at a slight sunset over the trees, but the sky was mostly still blue witth only a little bit of faded orange towards the bottom. The moon as also visible, as well as a few clouds.
- Looking out the window at the end of a long day, I couldn’t help but feel like the sky mirrored by feeling of weariness as the big heavy mass of blue put all of its weight on the faint glow of orange at the horizon. The shadow of the barren trees only added to the dreary scene. But way up in the sky there were some faint clouds and a vibrant white moon that provided a glimmer of brightness and hope.

- Thursday, March 9, 7:00 am, in my bed.
- A beam of blue light reflected on my grey blanket.
- I was sleeping and my alarm went off to wake up. I turn around and I see a beam of this really cool dark turquoise light on my blanket really close to my face. I stared in amazement and then I looked up and my big water bottle that is the same color was sitting on the ac. The sunlight was coming through the blinds of the window and it passed through my water bottle hitting my blanket. I thought it was so astonishing, probably because I had just woken up and I see this pretty shining color out of no where. What had amazed me was how my blanket is dark and how the color shined so bright and the blue wasn’t a bright color. It was a shiny, deep, beautiful light.

- Location: House on Front Street, February 11, 2017 at 10:45 pm.
- Objective: A line of LED lights that illuminate red, then blue, and finally green, over and over. They are the only lights on, cascading the the small interior of the house party in the primary colors.
- Subjective: As the music and tight crowd was drowning me out, all I could see was the repeating colors of red, blue, and green. These repeating color changes, hurting my eyes with its repetition, made me think about all the times I had been at a party or one of the bars. I would go, arrive, drink, and then head home. Doing this same thing over and over again to find some connection or fulfillment. Sometimes I would, other times I would not. Yet staring into those primary lighting colors made me realize that I would do similar patterns for partying.

- Cold
- The misty light reflects off the water, casting blue and purple onto the stones. These colors and the haze in the distance cast a chill over the scene, making it feel barren, desolate, and cold.

Photo taken from Pintrest. Theme: Cold
The harsh streetlamps loom overhead, illuminating the the never-ending stretch of empty road. The uniform blue lights reaching off into the distance emphasizes the hollow and lonely world created within the photo, evoking a sense of unease.

- Cold
- The lighting in this photo consists of mainly cool tones. The cool toned lighting surrounding the chair combined with the concrete walls give the room a sense of coldness. The blue light bouncing off of the concrete wall emphasizes the bleakness of the room. The lack of warm colors further gives the room an icy feeling.

- Wednesday February 8th 4:00pm The Peacock Lounge at NBC Studios.
- On Wednesday, I was lucky enough to get tickets to see a taping of The Tonight Show. After we we admitted into the studio we were put in a waiting area in the studio called the Peacock Lounge. In addition to some couches and some curtains, there were dozens of monitors all around the room with pictures from previous guests on the show that changed every few seconds. However, the lighting in the room was very special. The ceiling was lit around the edges with orangey yellow light and there were 4 pillars in the room that would change from blue to orange as the monitors changed around them as well.
- The lights that illuminated most of the room were a warm and happy orangey yellow color. It was almost as if a sunrise was peaking out from a ledge just beneath the entire edge of the ceiling. Then each of the four pillars in the room had interchanging blue and orange light on two sides and a monitor with pictures from the show on the other two sides. As the colors and photos changed I felt starstruck. The lighting of the Peacock Lounge made me feel special and excited to be a part of something so magical.

- Sunrise/Sunset
- This photo of a sunrise over Niagara Falls captures the soothing yet powerful motion of the falls. The blue green water feels and looks frigid in comparison to the intense warmth radiating from the yellow and orange sun. The light in the picture makes it seem like the perfect most peaceful place to be would be floating in the cloud of white mist where the cool water droplets enclose your body but you can still feel the powerful warm glow of the sun.

Description: This photo plays with the silhouettes of the actors during the scene. The two men are both present but you can only really see the shadow of the man in the doorway while there is moonlight beaming down on the other guy. This stuck out to me because of the beautiful colors that are created.
