- When i learned that the theme was single subject – single light source, i immediately thought of this photograph of Marilyn Monroe. I love how she is sitting in a very elaborate costume backstage beneath a stage light just sipping a cup of coffee. It is the perfect set up of a picture and captures such a simple moment.
