Lighting Observation

Date / Time / Location: March 10th / 9:35 pm / Hempstead Turnpike
Objective Description: As I walked home from rehearsal the sky was a dark pitch, black but the moon illuminated the sky rather well. Even though it was quite dark outside, the moonlight in coalition with the streetlights provided a safe pathway home. The neighborhood streets were not very bright, however the turnpike as well as front street were bright enough to see the cement ahead of you.
Subjective Description: The moonlight was very comforting to walk home with. The streetlights among hempstead are rather scattered and dimly lit, so it was nice to have another bright light present. In addition, the beaming crescent moon looked gorgeous in comparison to the bland, black night sky.
