4.) This photo is very brightly lit, making the bright colors on the flowers in the foreground of the image really pop. The full wash of light that is neither too cold nor too warm creates a vibrant feeling of new life that is typically associated with spring. In the top left corner of the image, it looks slightly faded, as the sunlight is coming from that direction. This mutes the background slightly, again bringing attention to the flowers in the front. The fact that it is coming from the top left corner also indicates that the sun hasn’t full risen yet. While this indicates the time of day more than the season, spring is often associated with growth and new beginnings, so early morning light makes sense to connect with spring, whereas if the sun was straight overhead the photo might feel more summery.
