Theme: Spring
Although I took this picture in early July, it was the first break that I had had all year at that point. It was an extremely warm day and surprisingly humid. The sun was beating straight down, and although there were clouds, the clouds cast no shadows on the ground, making it seem as if it were a completely clear day. The shadow cast by the tree in the back makes it feel as if there is some kind of cool safe haven just up ahead, but in reality, it was actually hotter under the trees. If I am remembering correctly, it was actually very cold earlier that day, and when we made it to the park, it was actually a little bit hot, thanks to the bright sun. With how bright the sun is, it makes this picture look almost artificial, like an old Windows 95 desktop wallpaper.
