Lighting Observation #6

3/14/25, Rhode Island College Stage

On stage with 4 other dancers I see how the red side light shining on half of one person’s face. It highlights the bones and darkens the deeper parts of the face, like the eye and below the cheekbone. The whole face is colored red and it bleeds into the hair and white shirt. The highlights of blonde look bright red but the brown hair is almost maroon. The white shirt ripples with movement and the red light dances across the curves of the fabric.
