Sunset: Gels used: No color, Gold tint (L151), and Deep Straw (R15)
Top and bottom cyc, 3 lights one straight down and one from each downstage corner
Bright sun rays, I wanted to reflect a warm evening with visible rays of light shining down, possibly even being reflected and therefor skewed, to give the appearance its coming from more than one direction.
Sunrise Cathedral:
Bottom cyc at 75 % 3 lights, one straight down to create a wash, and shin kickers on either side to get the lighting on the floor. All lights Full CT Blue (L2o10)
Like the sun is shining from the horizon, I wanted to reflect the cool, early bright light bleeding in to the building, mostly likely illuminating the lower parts of the room.
Caribbean Noon
The top and Bottom cyc at full, one at gold tint and one at real straw
3 Lights in the front uring real staw to replicate the hot sun beating down, where the UV is high, and the temperatures get so hot that you can see the heat in the air.
Canadian Winter Noon
All lights FULL CT blue. Top and Bottom cyc full, 6 lights coming from upstage corners, upstage on each side, and a light coming from downstage stage right and upstage stage left. The two lights have a dot gobo on them.
In the winder, any sunlight that gets through the clouds bounces around all of the white snow everywhere, everything all one color. The gobo replicates the light making shadows through the tree branches.
