1st Photo Observation – KS

  4. I took this photo because, when I saw this sunset descending behind the Axinn Library, I thought it was truly beautiful and I felt like I was at home. At the time I took this photo I was a first semester freshman at Hofstra and I was still adjusting. However, when I took this photo walking away from class, I had a feeling of belonging and comfort emerge inside me, and I felt the need to capture the moment. This sunset is not only a nice view, but it is one of the core views and moments that made me feel like I was meant to be at Hofstra and that I did, and do, belong.
