- This picture was taken a couple months ago at a nice bar in Farmingdale. My friends and I went to celebrate the end of the semester just a week before we left for Christmas break. This picture captures the dense air of the bar and how a packed, lively night life can be felt through a photograph. My friend Nick sits at the center of this photo as he scans the room behind him, taking in the high, youthful energy of the dimly lit room. As the room was made visible every other second through flashes of stage lights behind the earth shaking DJ, night life was viewed as if one was holding a flip book. All of this gets flashed brightly in a moment from the digital camera as it attempts to isolate this moment of college excitement. The flash however swiftly removes many of these details which filled the room only moments before leaving a brightly exposed Nick forever enshrined in college bar legend.
