11/28/2024 In the Colorado Mountains
Cold
I took this picture from my aunt’s backyard in Colorado, it was the second state i’ve ever been to since leaving Texas so the surreal feel of the mountains and forest was overwhelming. Obviously the snow on the mountains gives cold but mostly the desaturation of the whole image in comparison to the blue sky is what gave me the vibes of cold. The sunlight isn’t overly aggressive on the trees or mountain, giving them a calm feel that is further emphasized by the amount of the sky visible in the picture. Looking at this picture reminds me of the brisk air up in the mountains and the chill that laid over the whole place.
