This photo is a screenshot from the live broadcast of the Artemis II spacecraft’s return to Earth. I find this photo to be surreal because, from this angle, it looks like the fuel from the spacecraft has cut the moon in half. It looks too geometric and clean-cut to feel real. It looks almost painted too.
