Photo Observation – Isolation

2) I took this photo inside my house

3) THEME: Isolation

4) DESCRIPTION: I feel like it’s important to find space in the house that makes you feel less like you stuck there all the time. I’m the kind of person that can get super bored, so watching lighting come into the house in different ways and getting outside has been pushing me forward.

Lighting Observation

1) DATE-TIME-LOCATION: 3/31/20 6 am Ocean city sitting on my dock

2) OBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: The sunrise over the water

3) SUBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: Sitting on the dock watching the sunrise warmed me for the rest of the day. I’ve been really feeling trapped lately, so getting outside to watch this on my doc made me feel less like I was going anywhere.

Photo Observation

2) This Photo is from Ocean city NJ looking out my bedroom window towards the bridge in my town

3) THEME – Spring

4) DESCRIPTION: This Photo is was taken by myself while I was sitting doing work during the quarantine. Spring right now, to me, means almost nothing. I can’t really go out and do anything, and if I wanted to, it’s not like anything is open anyway. On top of that, I was not expecting to be home this spring, so being able to see this sight during the spring this year wasn’t something I excepted.

Lighting Observation

1) DATE-TIME-LOCATION: 3/19/20, Ocean City Nj, 7:30 am

2) OBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: The sun lighting coming through my bedroom window

3) SUBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: The illumination coming through my window was extremely bright. Since I pushed my bed up against the window, the morning sun reflects off the bay and straight through my window.

Photo Observations

  2. Description – I think that this pulls focus on beauty in specific standards. The idea that if you use this predicted, you would be flawless like this witch in most cases is unrealistic.

Lighting Observation

1) DATE-TIME-LOCATION: 2/2/20 11:30 pm Hauge Suite Lounge

2) OBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: Yellow light coming from the lamp instead of the over having lights.

3) SUBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: The lighting was a warm yellow light the spilled into the room, and a few friends and I were reading a play for one of our classes. The light seemed to add to the world of the play that we were there creating for the lines at that moment. It was fun to not only have experience with lighting but in the sense of theater and storytelling

Night Life

2) This is a picture of my dorm room wall

3) THEME: Night Life

4) DESCRIPTION: The light illuminates my room and gives a relaxed, calming feeling. It reminds me of the nights spent in my room laughing and having a great time with my friends. I make me feel more comfortable and calm sitting under these light rather than sitting under the Florissant lights built into the ceiling
