- Lights could always feel bizarre for any given reason. Depending on the person they may find a fairly typical arrangement of lights to be bizarre. When I read this prompt it reminded me of one of the most bizarre moments I’ve ever been on stage for. In You Cant Take it With You, two years ago, there was a big moment right before intermission in which fireworks explode inside the house and all kinds of chaos ensues. In this moment all kinds of different colors lights flashed around and blinked creating a huge amalgamation of light and craziness. The family is the definition of the word bizarre for the entire show and this moment of the production, especially the lighting perfectly capture the what it means to be out of the ordinary. This creates a fascinating and exciting shock to the audience that left an impression heading into intermission.
