- This photo has a peculiar energy to it. This is taken from the Whitney museum of American Art from their Sixties surreal exhibit. I think the word surreal well describes this photo as the movement and positions by of the camels along with their extreme detail creates an odd feeling. The lighting however brings the most uniqueness to it. The orange setting over the details of these animals creates a realistic feeling from maybe a desert, but paired its totality and flatness making a blanket over the whole exhibit, it leaves the photo more surreal instead.
