Lighting Observation

1) DATE-TIME-LOCATION: 4/7/20 Ocean city NJ doc into the bay 

2) OBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: – Sitting on the doc with hand made stainglass 

3) SUBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: My sister and I got extremely bored, and we started to make fake stainglass with tissue paper. Sitting on the dock, we would hold the stained glass up to the light and watch the water. The sun would force the color through the tissue paper and project the color onto the water. you could also say we were making our gels 

 

Lighting Observation

1) DATE-TIME-LOCATION: 4/7/2020 around 8:45pm in my room in West Hempstead, NY

2) OBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: All the lights in my room were off except for my fish tank light.

3) SUBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: After closing my blinds and shutting off my lights, I noticed that the only light in my room was that of Betta O’Rourke’s tank (my foster fish). He was swimming around gracefully as the yellowish-greenish light from above his tank lit up a corner of my room. 

Lighting Observation

1) DATE-TIME-LOCATION: Wednesday, 2/26 at around 5:30am in my room

2) OBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION:  It was still dark outside when I woke up. 

3) SUBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: As I looked out of my east-facing window and rubbed my eyes, the sky was still dark. The streetlights near the Coliseum were orange and white, and seemed to mock me in my exhausted state. 

Lighting Observation

1) DATE-TIME-LOCATION: 2/3/2020 at around 7:45am in my room in Vander Poel, facing East

2) OBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: The sky looked like a line of grey clouds, but then it abruptly ended right above the horizon when the sun was rising. 

3) SUBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: The sky was a wall of opaque grey clouds, but there was a stark line of demarcation on the horizon where the golden sun was rising over the Nassau Collesium. Despite the light, the clouds remained dominant. 

 

Lighting Observation

1) DATE-TIME-LOCATION: Sunday, January 26th at 9:40 PM my dorm room 

2) OBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: The new LED strip lights, hun, up in my room casting on the toned blue walls in my dorm. 

3) SUBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: As I plugged into the wall and watched them illuminate the room from the dark, I was surprised not to see the color I had selected. Due to the walls being tinted blue, it distorted the colors. As we pressed the smooth rotating button we watched as the colors changed and show new colors then the pure colors on the remote control
