Photo Observation #3

1: Source: I phone 7

2: Hue’s creating a cold feeling

3: The Sharpy lights we programed to be a dark and yet vibrant blue during this point in the concert. This was for The Score, a show that I assisted in lighting designed. We had spent a week programing the songs with lighting cues to give different kinds of emotion. With the under lighting his face I got the refection of snow on a cold day. I had gone up during this specific number to take a pictures of how elaborate my partner and I had programed it. This was such a wonderful experience for me and it was quite enjoyable.

  1. 2/14/19 10:40pm My Bedroom.
  2. I glanced out my window for a brief second and was surprised to see a blue light emanating from one of the street lights.
  3. All of the other street lights give off a yellowish hue but this one in particular shines a bright blue.

Photo Observation #3

  1. This photo was taken on my Galaxy S8 by me.
  2. Theme: Cold
  3. My attention was called to the window when a cold breeze came through. I couldn’t help but notice how barren the trees looked outside. The grey clouds above let minimal light shine through. I couldn’t help but to think of the snow that may soon arrive. As I walked out of Emily Lowe Hall I was once again greeted by the crisp cold breeze.

Light Observation #3

  1. Date: Feb 12, 2019, 11:30 pm, in my bedroom
  2. I was using the flashlight on my iPhone to search for my lipstick. It was dropped somewhere underneath my bed and after I found it at a corner, I put my phone on my bed and didn’t turn it off right away. When I was about to go back to sleep, my fingers accidentally put above the light pole. I saw my fingers were lit up all the way from the bottom.
  3. When my finger was lit up by the flashlight, I saw the vessels beneath my nail. The color was kind of like that of blood but much softer and less denser. Although I couldn’t see the blood flowing, I still felt the pulse and beats inside the tiny body organization. The spectacle and strength of life were amplified at that moment.

Lighting Observation 3

  1. 2/12/19; 5:45 PM; My Backyard
  2. The orange sunset and pink sky was peeking through the clouds over the snow covered trees and ground.
  3. The warm colors contrasted against the cold harsh landscape and acted as final glimpse of warmth and comfort before the cold grey clouds overtook it and the darkness of night set in.

Photo Observation 3

From my camera, taken in my room.

Theme: Cold

The chilling blue lighting I placed in the corner of my room portrayed the snowman candle holder as equally chilling due to decrepit wall background. The light also worked in harmony with its frozen, deadpan eyes.

Photo Observation #3

  1. I took this photo on Thursday morning.
  2. Theme: Cold
  3. Description: I took this photo in my bathroom where there is a square window on the ceiling, and it is the light source in the bathroom during day time. I was showering before I took the photo and the vapor rises all the way up to the ceiling. Frost flower formed on the glass so I can tell it was extremely cold outside. Also, the blue color of the sky just added more chill to the feeling.

Taken November 15, 2018 at Hofstra

Description: I was going outside to go to HofstraUSA and as I am crossing the field there is a heavy snow fall happening and I decided that this was the perfect image. The way the light point towards the center of the field and being able to see the snow falling in the lights is a magical scene.
